Zillow has just recently launched their Zillow Mortgage Marketplace, an online market place where internet users can submit their request for a mortgage quote and then anonymously receive mortgage quotes from various mortgage lenders also using the system. This seems like a revolutionary new service for the online mortgage industry. Similar in vein to Lending Tree but on a much more open and transparent scale (you pick which quotes you want to respond to, as opposed to having your information automatically sent to the four lenders with the top quotes). Any service that gives more power to the consumer is sure to be a hit. Has anyone had a chance to try them yet? Please let us know your experience with the system.
